- What is a Food Sensitivity Test? / What is a Candida Test?
A test that measures your body’s immune response to different food types to help provide guidance on what foods may be triggering ailments in "Your" Immune System. Candida is a fungus, which is a form of yeast, and a very small amount of it lives in your mouth and intestines. Its main job? Helping out with digestion and nutrient absorption. But when overproduced, it can break down the wall of the intestine and penetrate the bloodstream — releasing toxic by-products into your body and causing leaky gut and candidiasis (candida infection). This can lead to many different health problems, from digestive issues to depression. The lab will check for Candida overgrowth.
- Are you taking the place of my physician or practicing medicine?
No. Although MWL is providing access to advanced testing, we always encourage clients to review their lab tests with their physicians if they choose to do so. It is not a requirement.

Any diagnosis of an ailment requires personalized sentiment that sometimes isn't found in a medical facility. It goes beyond an informal prescription scrip. We NEED help at home after leaving the doctor's office. An easy transition and someone willing to walk you through the process. I want to empower clients to play an active role in their health. Whether it's from a recent / previous diagnosis or for general self care.
- Are there any limitations to obtaining a test?
Anyone over the age of 18 may order a test and participate in the program.
- Does my health insurance company cover these tests?
Unfortunately, No. We do not take insurance or participate in Medicare, Medicaid or other governmental or state programs. MWL is not contracted with any insurance companies at this time. The biomarkers, tests, follow ups, nutrition plans, etc. are typically priced lower than out-of-pocket costs associated with such visits.
Because of our national contracts MWL is able to offer discount pricing directly to you for a savings. Unfortunately, even with insurance, many consumers have very large deductibles and have to pay out of pocket for their labs. Additionally, there are numerous advanced biomarkers we offer that are not covered by insurance. This program offers you significant savings on your terms.
- Do you offer a payment plan for the Initial Fee?
There are payment options available. Depending on the needs of each client. The payment arrangements will be discussed during initial "in office" Consultation.
